In April and May every year, tiny bluebells begin to scatter themselves across woodland floors all over Hertfordshire. We visit Hitch Wood near Hitchin where blankets of bluebells surround the trail. The trail starts at the car park on the B651 south of Hitchin (OS Map Reference TL198239).
