The Cais da Ribeira is the name of the road along the northern riverbank of the River Douro in Porto, a coastal city in northwest Portugal. Our walk starts near Ribeira square and heads towards the Luis I wrought iron bridge. This area is very popular with tourists and locals who can enjoy a drink or meal in a historic, attractive location.
